Tamagotchi Secret Codes (for tamagotchi toy version 4)

Here are the shop codes for your tamagotchi V4. The number of gp is what it costs to buy the item after the first time.

The V4 instruction sheet tells you how to enter the codes:

At the shop counter screen, press (A).
Then, press (A) quickly three times. When the shop owner's face appears surprised, punch in the secret code to reveal a new item.
[A = left button, B = middle button, C = right button] 

Pen = 15,000 gp:
BBCA CCCA.

CD3 = 0 gp:
CAAA BACB.

The last code you enter will not give you what the code is for! Instead, it will give you a RARE CELL PHONE. If you would still like to get the last item from the last code, you will have to re-enter the code and buy it. I recommend entering the code for "CD3" last because it is free!

Tamagotchi Secret Codes (for tamagotchi toy version 2)

Here are the shop codes for your Tamagotchi V2. Go to the shop. Press A three times within two seconds. The shopkeeper will look surprised. Then, press :

Hair Potion:
ACBC ABAC.

Love Potion/Honey:
BCBA CABA. 

Steak:
BACB CACB.

Cake:
ABBA CBCC.

Free Costume:
CBAA CABC.

Matchmaker Tip

When the matchmaker appears, press the centre (B) button and the matchmaker will stop looking in her book and will walk across and your new partner will be there - or maybe nothing will be there!

Tamagotchi Batteries

The original Bandai Tomagotchi batteries last several months of use - but be careful when replacing them. Some of the batteries that we have tried (Duracell LR2032) only last a few weeks and can be quite expensive. So, although they are the same size as a CR2032 they do not perform the same way. We ordered some Maxell CR2032 batteries and they have worked out really well!
